Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 3, 2026
At NativeFirst, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our apps, website, and services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Contact Information: When you reach out via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymized, aggregated analytics data about how you use our website (e.g., pages visited, referral source) to improve our services.
- Device Information: Our apps may collect basic device information for crash reporting and performance monitoring.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- Improve and maintain our apps and website.
- Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
- Send occasional updates or announcements (only if you have opted in).
3. Data Storage and Security
Our apps are designed with a privacy-first approach. Where possible, your data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. For features that require server communication, we use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. These services have their own privacy policies and may include:
- Apple App Store (for app distribution and analytics).
- Analytics providers for website traffic insights.
- Email delivery services for contact form processing.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Third-Party AI Services
Some Native First applications include AI-powered features — for example, content summarization, study material generation, conversational tutoring, text-to-speech, transcription, audio narration, and contextual question answering. To deliver these features, those apps may forward user-submitted content to third-party AI processors.
What may be sent
When you actively use an AI feature in one of our apps (such as tapping "Generate", asking a question, or requesting a summary), the content you provide for that specific action — typically the text you type, a topic you select, a PDF or document you upload, or a transcript of audio you record — is sent to our backend at nativefirstapp.com and forwarded to the AI processor for that feature.
We do not send:
- Your name, email address, or Apple ID
- Your device identifier or advertising identifier
- Your study history, scores, or progress data
- Your contacts, calendar, photos, or location
- Any data from features you did not explicitly trigger
Who receives it
The AI processor we use is OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI"), accessed through our authenticated proxy at nativefirstapp.com. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, content submitted via their API is not used to train or improve OpenAI's models and is retained only for a short period for abuse-monitoring purposes (currently 30 days; see OpenAI's API data usage policies at openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies for the current terms).
We may add additional AI processors in the future (for example, Anthropic, Google, or on-device models). When we do, we will update this policy and — if a new processor handles a meaningfully different class of data — surface a fresh in-app disclosure before any data is sent to them.
Your control
In every Native First app that uses AI features, you will see an in-app disclosure the first time you trigger an AI action. AI features do not run, and no data is sent to OpenAI, until you explicitly accept that disclosure.
You can revoke your consent at any time:
- In-app: Settings → AI Service → "Revoke consent"
- Effect of revoking: all AI-powered features in that app stop working until you re-enable consent. Already-generated content (your flashcards, summaries, podcasts, etc.) is unaffected and remains available offline.
If you have questions about how a specific app uses AI, or want a copy of any data associated with your account, contact us at support@nativefirstapp.com.
6. Cookies
Our website may use essential cookies to provide core functionality such as theme preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@nativefirstapp.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
